Today Women NSW named me an Inspirational Women. I'm so grateful to have my story shared by a governement department whose purpose is the better the lives of Australian women. This is such an honour and something I have not taken lightly.
Right up below:
" Starting her career as a Website Manager for some of Australia’s largest online stores, Stephanie was able to balance her Tech career and modelling aspirations by being an early adopter of working remotely. This enabled her to move from Brisbane to London at the age of 19.
Stephanie then transitioned into the Public Sector after moving back to Australia, working as a Web Content Officer for the Queensland Department of Education. After 18 months, she was offered a Senior Web Content Management position with the NSW Department of Education.
Outside of her role with the NSW Department of Education, Stephanie is an integral member of the ITD Women in Tech committee, working as a representative and facilitator for creating positive change for women working in the Tech industry. She is a fierce advocate for gender equality and preventing violence against women, and is currently a Miss Universe Australia National Finalist, an Ambassador for the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation (ACCF) and was recently named a White Ribbon Australia Community Partner.
With her innate desire to lift-up other women, she wants to lend her voice to help build an Australia where women and girls have the resources and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
Congratulations on all you have achieved as a young woman Stephanie, your story is a truly inspirational one!"
